I ’m in Palm Desertt, CA to speak at CCH’s 4th Annual Users’ Conference. As usual, CCH has chosen a beautiful facility and as usual, the event appears to be exquisitely planned. With well over 1,200 in attendance the registration / check-in process was understandably strained, but the opening reception / dinner / pool party was a huge hit. Today’s highlight is Kevin Robert’s, CEO of Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting, opening keynote and a presentation by Jason Jennings, author of the national bestseller “Less is More”. Jennings’ current book, “Think Big, Act Small”.
Also on the agenda today is an “On the Road” podcast eepisode of the Intersection Live series. I’ll be interviewing CCH President Mike Sabbatis along with 5 honorees from the 2008 Class of The CPA Technology Advisor’s 40 Under 40. [Yes the five ARE older in total years than Mike & I --- no further comments, please.]
If you’re a CCH user and you’re not in Palm Desert this week, you’re missing a great conference.
