A big apology to all of you who've come to depend on TheTechGap for your regular dose of "wassup" 
around the accounting technology world. I've been a bit out of commission, out of town (again) too much, and, simply put, I got lazy at the expense of posting. I'll first explain, then whine, and finally end up with a promise to "go forth and sin more" ..... oh, wait, that was Catholic school back in the 50's ..... the promise will have to be to "do better in the future".
Late last fall I injured my ulnar nerve. That's the only unprotected nerve in the body --- right at the elbow --- and it often referred to as the "funny bone". Well funny it ain't!! It radiated pain from my shoulder to my hand and I was pretty much unable to type or mouse for several months. I almost went stark, raving mad!!! The good news I'm on the mend and will soon have some minor surgery to correct the source of the problem so I can count on not having to deal with THAT any more.
I was at CES and I have a whole raft of things to tell you about ---- and you'll be seeing them here, soon.
Keep checking because I have BIG NEWS about a special new offering that I just know you're going to love. I can't say any more right now, but you accounting tech uber-geeks are going to REALLY be happy next week. I'm opening this conversation to posts so feel free to chime in --- those that emailed me trying to shame be back here: It worked. So gloat. You others feel free to add your speculation as to next weeks announcement.

I was also missing out on my accounting tech uber-geek reading. I love to read this blog! I hope your big news is about more OCR technology like the CCH and Sureprep products! GEt that funny bone feeling better! Keep them coming!

Only you could have something NOT FUNNY happen to the FUNNY BONE. I knew it had to be illness....nothing else would keep you away.
And as for your "teaser" comment, please please don't do that to us. We come to this site for answers and I now only have more questions. No seriously, I have missed you and I will patiently wait a little longer, but you better come forth soon. We can't wait much longer.
