Here's a very handy little device that I guarantee will make life much easier for any laptop-toting traveler. A quick press of a button indicates the presence of a wireless (802.11a/b/g) signal. This is MUCH easier than booting up a laptop and MUCH more reliable than the teenaged staff at the coffee shop. If there's a signal this little guy will sniff it out. If not, it's a great techno-conversation starter!
They're cheap (about $30) and I've discovered thay make great gifts for geeky friends!
